Supporting Theological Reflection and Conversation that Strengthen the Ministry of the Church

PUBLIC LECTURES

The IRT sponsors an annual series of lectures on the Union-PSCE campus in Richmond, Virginia. Reformed scholars, and scholars from a variety of other traditions have spoken on issues of theological interest in a forum that is geared to the participation of the general public. Although most of these lectures are not put into a physical printed form by the Institute, many of the texts from these presentations are available on this web site. Below is our list of offerings.

A special series of lectures, the Sprunt Lectures, an annual series at Union-PSCE was sponsored by the Institute for Reformed Theology in 2001.Those speaking at this series, which was entitled “Reformed Christianity in the Third Christian Millennium” were:

John deGruchy, University of Cape Town
Jan Rohls, University of Munich
Peter Paris, Princeton Theological Seminary
Dawn DeVries, Union-PSCE
Nicholas Wolterstorff, Yale University

Although these lectures will not be available on line, they are published in a volume enitiled Reformed Theology for the Third Christian Millennium: The 2001 Sprunt Lectures from Geneva Press. To order, click here.
